This class is small, fun and very focused as well as being lots of fun.  Because of how the hall takes bookings I can only book one month ahead, so can’t provide the long list of dates I do with other classes - this doesn’t mean I dont intend to keep going !!!,  just that I can’t confirm the dates just yet.  If in doubt email me to check info@letsbellydance.co.uk

 

Beginners doors open at 7.30pm for a 7.45 start.  This class covers all the basics of bellydance, the key moves are drilled and then adapted with arm placements, level changes and layering.  A perfect first class, or additional.

 

Improvers plus sign in at 8.30 for an 8.35pm start.  For our Drills and Thrills we will focus totally on the fitness side of bellydance, with our favourite drills and a mega shimmy every week.  Aimed at building stamina this is the perfect companion class for one of the Intermediate/Advanced classes or for the dancer who is more focused on fitness than creativity.

 

The option of doing two classes back to back means that, once a dancer has covered the basics, students of all levels can take a 90 minute class, which is much better at building stamina.  Because of the length of the lessons and the topics to be covered I can offer fresh lessons for nearly a year for beginners.  I would suggest a min of 40 weeks in the beginners class although you may wish to stay for around 60-but after the first 10 or so you are welcome to stay for the drills or attend one of my other improver classes-some dancers keep an eye on the weekly topics and mix and match with doing both some weeks to help them work on their weaker key moves.  

 

Directions :

Viables Craft Centre is signposted from the M3 (J6), Alton road and Winchester road.  From the Basingstoke ring road exit as if heading towards Alton but at the first roundabout turn right towards Queen Mary’s college into Grove road.  At the next roundabout continue straight into Harrow Way - the entrance to Viables is a little way on your left almost hidden behind a big road sign.  Its opposite the lorry parking bays.  Once on site head into the car park on the right as this is nearest the hall although either is just a short walk.  The door marked Four lanes is actually our fire exit, so you wont be able to get in that way.  Please use the door marked Toilets (!),  turn right and follow the corridor to the Four Lanes room.
